I am grateful to have had the opportunity to sit down with the acoustic and play some intimate blues.

I remember the first time I heard a Lighting Hopkins record. I was transported immediately because I felt like it was just me and him and he was just playing for me.

I was only around 12yrs old but I used put my headphones on and zone out for hours letting my imagination run wild picturing what it would have been like to see these Delta bluesmen in their prime in some juke joint down in Mississippi. This EP is inspired by the idea of the power the blues can have in it’s simplest form “voice and guitar” delta style.

I hope you enjoy listening to my solo EP. – Ray Beadle
